The general information

Mud cleaner is combined with desander, desilter and shale shaker.  It can be said second and third stage solids control equipment.  The mud cleaner is after shale shaker. And separate the particle sized 15~76 microns totally. As we know the 47~76 microns firstly by desander cones and 15~47 microns subsequently by desilter cones

Mud cleaner type

This is decided by division matter. We can call it linear motion or balanced elliptical motion by different underset shaker vibration type. Furthermore, the cones difference on mud cleaner is another issue. Such as the PU material, or metal material. The metal including high-chrom casting iron, nodular cast iron, abrasion-resistant alloy, etc.

Now GN Solids Control hold mud cleaner as following: it can be linear motion, or balanced elliptical motion, and the cones can be metal material, or the PU material.  According to your clients’ requirement and actual usage we kindly suggest use desander and desilter cones made of PU. This material is durable and anticorrosion for some chemical

How does it work?

The mud cleaner in the fluid processing system is usually set behind shale shaker. The mud tank in the system including shaker tank, active tank, mixing tank, etc. Shaker tank ususally will be fitted with shale shaker, mud cleaner, decanter centrifuge etc.

And for this stage, the tank will be divided into 3 compartment. In the oil well drilling, mud will flow to shaker through high pipe. The drilling fluid after processing by shale shaker will fall into first compartment.

Then centrifugal pump transfer the mud to desander cone. At this occasion, the mud are moved by pressure up to about 0.20-0.35Mpa. Particles larger than 76 microns will be separated out. Mud with smaller drilling cutting will fall into the desander compartment.

The centrifugal pump for desilter  will transfer the mud to desilter cones. The mud is under pressure at 0.25-0.4Mpa come to swirl in cones. After this process drilling  cuttings bigger than 47microns will be out of mud. Drilling fluid with solids sized 15-46 microns down to under set shaker. The result after shaker drilling mud will be without solids largger than 15 microns fall into clean mud compartment

Treating capacity

The capacity is upon cones number. Usually the desander cone include 8″, 10″, 12″, and the capacity of them are 60m3/h, 100m3/h, 120m3/h  subsequently. The desilterr cone include 4″, 5″. The capacity is 20m3/h, 30m3/h. Presently we commonly use 4″ desilter cone and 8″, 10″ desander cone.

Cone size and number decides the treating capacity of drilling fluid desilter separator and desander. The under set shaker should be matched with desander and desilter. Then they come to a harmonious mud cleaner for drilling fluid system

    sur tout le long de votre processus de traitement de boue de forage que j’ai lu vous n’avait pas énoncé le mot verti-G qui est pourtant à la réception des cuttings lorsqu’il quitte les shakers,je passe ma thèse sur le traitement de la boue de forage et je me suis plus appuyé sur le Verti-G,le plus souvent fabriqué par MI SWACO(usine de fabrication et de traitement d’huile utilisé pour le forage),et j’aimerai avoir si possible un circuit illustrant le traitement de la boue de forage incluant incluant le Verti-G et son mode de fonctionnement.
